9 months old with toilet & chewing issues??
So our little pup still has toilet training issues she very rarely goes outside waiting to return from her walks and then go inside! We have left her outside for long periods hoping she will go to no avail. At times when she has an accident she runs to get the mop its totally a game to her but how can I break these habits? and chewing everything in sight she always has something in her mouth cannot stop grabbing things slippers gone child's toys chewed to bits just last night she chewed the life out of a doll that my daughter had left in her room and the wee devil knew she did it as she came racing up the hallway doing a 360 funny but then we had to hide remains of doll from daughter any advice greatly appreciated:)

Hi there, come and introduce yourself here....

What have you done with toilet training? When she's out in the garden are you with her or is she left to her own devices?
Chewing can be a problem. Until you're sure she can be trusted, I'd exclude her from any rooms that you can't puppy proof! Also, teaching a strong "Leave" command can be very helpful.
Mops/brooms etc are such fantastic toys to play with, aren't they? What I do is, every time my dog starts to attack/play with the mop/broom, I give a firm "No! Leave!" and stand absolutely still. If they don't stop, they get taken out of the room for a couple of minutes.

Daisy was a rescue but this is how I taught her. You need to stay out in the garden with her until she does her business, or if she does it on the walk, as soon as she starts say 'your toilet phrase' keep repeating it while she's doing it then when she's finished lots of praise, treat maybe. If you do this everytime she does something she'll soon understand what to do.

Great advise above, it takes a lot of patience, but you will definitely get there! Definitely lots of praise once she has gone toilet while you are there with her, she will pick it up in no time. They definitely get up to naughty things! They think everything is a game, but they do need to be watched like hawks, strong 'no' and 'leave' will have a good effect to the chewing good luck and keep us updated!
