tv aerial booster just pack up

 i can only watch bbc channels now  my life is falling to bits i swear!!

Oh flippin 'eck Steve. Any idea what caused it - heat/rain/lightning strike?

Had cable for 20 years so my aerial is just a decoration on my roof.

i think it the how old it is i must had it for about 15 years maybe longer

When I buy something I still expect it last forever, despite all the evidence I have had countless times over the years. I hate lashing out good money on a replacement.

Been having rubbish digital reception lately myself , put a new amplifier and a 10 way booster in the loft and it was fine for a while , I think round our way the signal is not great so atmospheric conditions can play havoc with it , but I am going to get the chimney taken down soon as it is not used for the flue any more so likely invest in a new super duper digital aerial on the side of the house, the one we have now was a special to allow the previous occupants to be able to pick up channel 5 in the pre digital age over 14 years ago

To be fair at least you have less crap to watch

Just not real and cannot really understand why anybody would be impressed by a pretend gangsta in the kitchen  so guess this is why it ends up on the food channel with the reruns of my fave programme
