tbh I'm glad it's a boy. I know the law of accession was changed a few months ago, but if it was a girl the whole hoo-ha would start up again and thank heavens we'll be spared that for our lifetimes.

Wetting the baby's head right now - cheers!

Congratulations to them Happy Birthday mini royal

Just getting a bit fed up of reporting for reporting sake. Honestly it is not breaking news that the Duke and Duchess are over the moon and that the rest of the family are delighted

My OH reckons it will be a George or Henry, also pointed out that this means the possibility of being named after the Numatic vacuum range so since Hetty is out ( is Hetty short for Henrietta btw as I'm sure there used to be a Henrietta in the range ) then only James left Laughing

Poor child is certain to have at least 6 names, and then be called something else for the rest of it's life.

Can't understand the royal naming thing. At least Charles is Charles, for now, but apparently when he becomes King he won't be Charles.

Priscilla would suit him to a T!

I'm rubbish at noting references, especially for things that don't concern me overmuch, but I always assumed (if I thought about it all) that when Charlie finally inherits the throne, he would be King Charles 3. What would be more logical. But apparently not, he will King George 7, or King Kevin 2, or some such. I don't understand it at all.

How very boring, but not unexpected.

I wonder what he'll really be known as/called.

I think they should have gone with Alexander for the first name, much nicer. But George is still cute, and so is the baby!
