Dog Friendly Beaches??
Hi all
I'm looking at taking Blue out later tonight to a beach but not sure what options I have
Anyone know about these beaches and if dogs are allowed off lead?
Southport Beach - Read it's ok for off lead dogs - but 1 hour away
Ainsdale Beach - Read it is also ok - but about 75 mins away
Blackpool Beach - Can't find info - 40 mins away
St Annes Beach - Says no dogs May - Sept, but not going till about 8pm so not sure if that restriction still applies - 40 mins away

Re: Dog Friendly Beaches??
mablethorpe beach is the nicest dog friendly beach i've been to, they can go off lead on all of it apart from the bit straight in front of the shops, where dogs aren't allowed
never been to any of the ones you said though

Re: Dog Friendly Beaches??
Went to go Blackpool massive delays on the motorway so turned round and went our usual park. So he still managed to have a swim and a run through the woods. Probably go tomorrow night now

Re: Dog Friendly Beaches??
Just noticed Mrs Blue's face book status
'Let's take the dog to the beach' he says. 'I've just got to nip out' he says. 'You get some towels, poo bags, his ball and lead ready' he says.... Dog has been crying like a bitch since I got the stuff ready... Cheers for that!
