Ezydog quick fit harness
Hi
Does anyone use the quick fit harness from ezydog?
It looks lovely and smart but wondered if it was better/worse than the chest plate one which they have now.
I know they don't need another harness but you know what's it like

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
Im not too sure about the quickfit harness, I recently bought the chest plate harness for Rocky and its been a great investment.
There are quite a few people here who do use Ezydog, someone should be along shortly. I guess every dog does do differently with every product though!

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
We have the chestplate Ezydog harness for Rocky mainly for when he is in the car for the seat belt clip. I would say the chestplate will spread the strain a bit more than the quick fit one ??? but dont know for sure.

seen a pic somewhere on here where someone was usin the Ezydog seat belt thing , though I never have . What you are supposed to do is thread the seatbelt buckle through the loop in the adaptor and then plug it in, but I don't think it has enough length so Pinky and Perky use these
http://www.petsathome.com/shop/universal-seat-belt-restraint-by-mypet-86209 ,
you can get them cheaper off ebay etc but reservations about possible quality issues and at a fiver they have all the different possibilities for the seat belt clip

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
The seat belt strap clicks into the seat belt fastener in the car as you normally would with any seat belt. The other end attaches to the harness by the ring where the lead would clip onto, hope this helps.

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
I use the chest plate harness for Doug but it has rubbed away his white fur on his chest so you can see all his pink skin I was thinking of getting the quickfit harness instead in the hope his fur will grow back!
We use the seatbelt adaptor and it's great! Ours isn't the one in the pictures above. Ours is a loop with a clip on the end. You thread the seatbelt throught the loop then clip the belt in as normal. Works wonders and stops Doug from moving around the back seat and being a pest!

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
Have ordered one for Alfie, will let you know how he gets on with it. I worry the chest plate harness rubs under his elbows, although he dosent seem to mind.

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
I bought the perfect fit dog harness from dog games. It has felt pieces underneath the webbing and has been the best one so far as others I have tried have chafed Densil's skin.

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
We have the fleecy lined ones from there, they are really comfy but seem to give less control, i think because they are sooo padded and comfy they dont notice if they pull.
They dont pull generally its just if they see a partridge and go lunging off. I need some help with 35kg of labrador diving into a cornfield
How are the perfect fit ones for control?

I got the extra wide/size one, which is really sturdy and has a D ring on the back of the harness as well as at the front. However I mostly use a double ended lead with a halti, rather than using the D ring on the front of the harness as this is the only way I can stop Densil pulling.

Thanks for that Densil, its interesting that you also use a halti with it. Will wait for the quick fit harness to arrive and then see what is like.

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
Easyfit harnesses have come, they look smart and the boys seem comfy in them.
Will walk them this evening and see how they get on.
Have noticed a red sore patch on Alfies chest (where chest plate harness goes, but it may only show up as he has white fur there), but these may work better for him.

Re: Ezydog quick fit harness
I had the same problem - got the easydog harness for Densil and it chafed on his chest and he had red patches, which is why I went for the perfect fit from Dog Games - no red patches or chafing at all now.
