I was looking at a book on dog breeds in a department store today.. of course I looked up staffys straight away.. and the description of the breed went on to say.. "they may walk around like a thug.. but really they are a pushover! "

Laughing

anyone that knows Jethro knows that is true.. I mean he is scared of his own shadow!! Smile

So so true! My boy is huge and I guess he can look intimidating to people who don't know him but he's the softest dog ever. He can be very boisterous with other dogs but he's so friendly and gentle around people of all ages.

Duke doesn't have to do anything to get people giving him a wide berth. If only they know they just need to give him a tickle and he'd dissolve into a happy little puddle!! Definitely not the "watch dog" type Lol! Tongues

yep this describes mouse exactly.
The next door neighbours put there bins out...mouse runs out in our back garden ready to "sort 'em out" gets out there then comes shooting back to whoevers closest and clings on to them.

hairdryer goes on, she runs off, turn it off she bravely goes sniffs it and runs off.

she goes and stands at my rat cage and shouts at them untill they come to the cage were she is standing, then she runs off.

silly dog.

I wish it was that Lisa... do you know what it was?? We get heaps of mice in the house cos we live in the country and Tony would be trying to set the traps in the kitchen and they kept going off while he was loading the traps..and then Tony would jump of course after nearly catching his fingers in it, and Jethro has picked up on his mood. Now Jethro just sees a trap and he starts quivering!! So we have had to get all new traps.. those plastic tunnel ones.. he isn't petrified of them!! Laughing (yet !! )`
