Just trying to play
Very very angry. My husband took my dog for a walk, she's happily minding her own business when a collie comes bounding over, growled at her, bit her neck and the owner said oh she just wants to play, pete called tash to follow him, she did the dog followed her and kept jumping on her and growling and biting.
Tash tried to get away, the dog kept following until tash turned round growled and bared her teeth at the dog. When we got home Tash has a horrible bite mark by her nose.
Stupid stupid owner, just a good thing my tash didn't decide to retaliate.
Makes my blood boil, would be such a different matter if it had been the other way around.

Aww poor Tash, she was a very good girl though and sounds like she handled it well, we too have had this with a collie & owner it makes me so mad that they seem to think its ok to allow there dog to run up to yours

Re: Just trying to play
Get well soon Tash. Poor little girl.
Jules, just keep a watch on her nose - dog bites have a horrible habit of becoming infected. Salt-water washes, and any sign of a swelling get her to the vet for anti-biotics.

Poor Tash! Hope she is okay, definitely right about it being the other way around, funny how they take no responsibility!

Re: Just trying to play
her nose seems fine, thanks for the advice. She's fine apart from being a bit of a bully to a little Labrador puppy tonight on our walk. I was mortified, she decided to dominate it by sitting on its face and when it had the audacity to growl she decided to pin it down and growl, no biting but not nice to see, I apologised profusely and our game of ball and walk was over, she's in the dog house
