Something on Debo's skin,help.

I've been cheking Debo just now and noticed some funny spots on his tummy,well more like next to his armpit and one looks like nipple but they all dry, a bit pink and it looks like in some of tchem there is some white stuff. They are hard.

They look quite sore! I'm afraid I've no idea what they are. Are there any ticks in your area? If so, they could be a reaction to bites?

I don't know, I thought perhaps bites, hope they will clear soon:)

It seems to be just allergies, has your pooch been in long grass, nettles, crops or near freshly cut grass? I used aqueous cream every morning and night. It looks a little red on the pik, you can use sudocreme to ease the redness and any itching. It will clear up over a few days, nothing to worry about

Yes to all quastions. We have lots of ticks here, we use spot-on thing every month. And he always runs in long grass etc,his crazy about the grass. Not sure why.

Could be a number of things, maybe an allergic reaction, are you able to send the pictures to your vet to take a look at and ask advice from them.

To be honest, Jola, I think if Debo got ticks you would see one, sooner or later. They are horrid things that bury their heads into the skin and then their bodies swell up and they don't drop off by their own accord for a long time.

I does look as if he has been bitten by something, do you have mosquitos or horseflies in your area? Do the bumps irritate him?

Or, it may be an allergic reaction to the long grass he loves to run in - maybe even the seed hairs from the long grass are sticking into him and causing local irritation.

Is Debo's hair more thin around his armpits than anywhere else on his body?

If it doesn't clear up soon or gets worse, then yes a visit to the vet is probably the best thing.

No,it doesn't look like thick bite,he had few on him already. It doesn't boder him,he doesn't lick it or scrach it.Will keep an eye on it and if it gets worst by Monday then visit to the vet.

Could be heat bumps or flie bites as they dont seem to be bothering him. Fingers cross all cleaned by monday.
