Female walkers Empty Female walkers

Post by cesca1 Tue Jul 09 2013, 23:31

Hi everyone,

Don't know if this is the right place to post this link etc and the guy who committed the horrendous crime has now been caught. I just wanted to raise awareness and make sure all the female walkers take care when they walk alone. Please make sure people know where you are, take phones and personal alarms etc. This evil, evil man killed her dog as well as the horrific crimes he did to her Sad

http://www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/chester-news/local-chester-news/2013/06/18/police-release-more-details-in-hunt-for-chester-rape-suspect-59067-33491638/

As I say this man has been caught. The reason I am so unnerved i think is because he attacked her where we/I commonly walk our dogs.

Sorry to post such a horrible story Sad just want everybody to take care and not forget to take precautions.

How awful I walk a lot in the woods myself and often don't say where I am going, so will have to be more aware. Poor woman and her pooch:(

My OH can't walk the dogs herself at the moment due to injury but always was on her back about not straying off the beaten track , fortunately our local canal path is a good walk and never quiet. Also important is to never walk with your MP3 player and headphones on , when my daughter walks them it is strictly only local roads and paths , can't be too careful

I always stick to busy places and park in a car park with CCTV coverage too which is in our local country park.
