Dog Walkers/Kennels Empty Dog Walkers/Kennels

I may be missing it, but is there not a list of recommended Boarding Kennels and/or Registered Dog Walkers?
Dad & I are off to France carp fishing for a week in April, and we'll need the services of one of the above (as yet undecided which route to go down re: kennels or get a walker to come in).
I've obviously done some local research, just wondered if there was a global/nationwide recommended board for either of these services; or any feedback from those that have used them anywhere on these boards?
Cheers,
Nick

We've had several individual discussions about kennels/dog walkers, but that's all.

I can recommend a kennel in Essex, but that'll be way too far away for you!

Thanks for that Caryll.
It lived in Braintree, Essex for over 25 years; and still go back there a few times a year to visit friends and family.

Well, if you're interested, it's Bullyview Kennels - they're Bull Terrier breeders, but they know the bully breeds & are really good (and secure) with the dogs.

Check the link below, I cannot personally recommend them though, just thought it may be another option for you. They have places all over:

I can thoroughly recommend barking mad. They have gone out of their way to accommodate our dog. He has been for a couple of little mini breaks with his foster family so that when he goes back for the full holiday he will recognise them and know where he is, but also know that he is coming home to us. I could never put my dog in a kennel again after finding out about this service.

I am a local dog walker, there is a national association called NARPS (National Association of Registered Pet Sitters) Handy for Dog Walkers, Kennels and House sitters. I'm also registered with my local Vets and Dog warden so you could try those places for information relating to services local to you and for recommendations. Hope that helps. Smile
