Poor lexi is too warm
Have to hose her down every hour, and she is preferring to stay in the shed rather than come outside with us lol

Re: Poor lexi is too warm
It's about 28 in the my garden at the minute, but it's been up to 33 ish or so my thermometer says.
We definitely aren't used to it!
I've had my huge fan on 24/7 and chance has lived in front of it

Daisy is fed up too, tried a cold wet towel on her but she wasn't impressed, just done some training inside to try and cheer her up!

It was in the 40's when I went to Florida a few years ago but completely different heat, definitely more of a dry heat over there!

Hope Lexi soon cools down, but apparently the weekend is going to be hotter still, so a bigger pool here me thinks!

lol sounds daft but its so true, i have been sat in crete in 40+ and it didnt bother me half as much as 25+ in the UK.
were a very damp country so relative humidity is nearly always pretty high making it hard to keep cool by sweeting. if the wind drops it gets quite unbearable. i think for the dogs its more a question of just not being used to it, my two have now gone down to three 2 mile walks a day and they sleep alot more and arnt eating hardley anything. have gone from 330 grams a day to 180 if i practically force feed them as they arnt burning anything off.
what is true though us the brits love of moaning, all summer its been on the news about how crap our summers are going to be for the next ten years. then guess what we have sunshine and some heat and everyone is moaning about it lol. as a nation were hard to please moanny gits, think the Aus guys have us summed up best as whinging poms lol. shhh, just dont let em know they are right

Aww poor Lexi! Gwen hates the heat..she plops herself right in front of the fan as soon as we come in from outside! We have had to shorten our walks because she gets too hot!
