ears - My dogs ears Empty My dogs ears

Post by Kurt75 Mon Jul 08 2013, 15:49

Hello everyone my name is Kurt and I have a 6 mo female SBT. My girl Gucci has full drop ears and I was wondering if they will ever sit correctly. I think she is done teething or at the very end of teething and her ears still haven't changed, you can see the fold sometimes when she is looking up but the never really stay folded. I have seen both the dam and the sire and they both have correct ears and both are registered with the AKC. I know the ears start to settle after teething and Iam hoping she just isn't there yet. Anyway , not a real big deal anyway as she is not a show dog and I love her to death no matter what her ears look like, but it's just one of those things you think about. I can't for the life of me figure out how to upload a photo from my I phone so I will try again tonight when I can get to my lap top.

Wouldn't worry bud, byson had one ear up and one down as a pup, eventually evened out, not positive but they don't finish teething till at least 10 months!!, might have ful adult teeth but take time to set!

ears are one of the "lets grow mental" bits of a staff and you will be surprised with the differences you will see as she gets older

Aww bless Gucci is gorgeous!! Her ears look fine to me, Rocky went through a stage where he was all ears looked a bit funny for a while but oh so cute, they do take a while to stand though, Rockys is only starting to lift his ears when we say 'treat' haha. She is stunning! Love Struck
