my puppys going ape lol
Just took puppy out on off the lead play right behind my house, got him running around and running after me even got him doing a few hill sprints.
Just came back in he sat down for 1 minute and now hes bouncing off the walls,i have heard the saying but hes actually bouncing off walls and sprinting all over the house.barking growling trying to rip everything now
It's almost like i have made him worse by giving him exercise lol
It's got me thinking again,i fancy a running machine for in the house and i was maybe gonna see if my pup whens hes older likes it,as long as he seems to enjoy it il let him on it.
Gota love these dogs HAHA

Re: my puppys going ape lol
This happens all the time with Gwen! After her walks or off lead time once we get back inside she is crazy bouncing off the walls for about 20 minutes. Then she usually calms down and goes to sleep. I think it is sometimes hard for them to transition from exercise to back in the house. Don''t worry though, the exercise definitely isn't making her more crazy even though it does seem like it at times! lol

Same here! My pooch will always become more excited after a long walk tearing around the house picking anything he can up along the way and tearing it to pieces

Haha yep, Rocky goes into the yard has a drink of water then starts running all over the place with that huge staffy smile. Its so cute and funny, then they basically pass out for a few hours haha.

Re: my puppys going ape lol
I think they get hyped up when they go out so they have a final energy burst when they come in before they crash out.

Same with Vinnie it really is like they have had no exercise, but he will then just suddenly flop and that's it!

Another one here, Daisy is the same, wouldn't matter if we'd been out for hours!!
