Just wanted to say Hi to everyone from me and Charlie (our new blue staff - 11 weeks old.). Was also wondering if anyone had any tips on how to stop him chewing at my pants all the time and biting me???. He doesn't seem to bite my husband only nibble!!

Hi and welcome, the bitting thing seems to be the norm, Roxy our 15 week old does the same, when I walk her she attacks my trouser legs, persistence and patients is the key, or wear shorts.

Hi and welcome from me and Gwen! Say a firm no or yelp every time he nips at you, if he continues (which he probably will if he's as stubborn as Gwen) then turn your back and ignore him for a minute or so. If he still continues after this just pick him up and place him in another room for 2 or 3 minutes for a time out. When you let him out if hes stopped give him calm praise if not put him back in time out. You and everyone in the house need to be very consistent and do this every single time. If you do he will soon catch on and it will start to improve. It doesn't happen over night though! Puppies like to explore with their mouths and he doesn't know yet that this is unacceptable behavior! It takes a lot of patience! Good luck:)
