Hello everybody , just wanted to appeal to anybody who lives around or knows people around this area to please help spread the word if they can

My Sister In Laws Cocker Spaniel, Acer,  went missing in the Taxel , Fernilee area yesterday when he bolted off assumedly chasing something furry he had spotted . He is chipped , has a collar with nametag and telephone number etc but he is also extremely timid, he will hopefully still be wearing a Navy Blu padded dog coat . Been spotted by several people yesterday since going missing out in the countryside around Taxel but will most likely bolt as soon as anyone approaches . If you see him please call 01663 719079 or 01663 734298 , they are aware . He was last spotted in the Macclesfield Road area of Whaley Bridge

Spoke to the OH about it , he's a really anxious dog , been spotted 2 hours ago by a farmer but just scarpers , he will only come running to my sister in law as he has been really molly coddled, trouble is she is in spain on her hols and the dog was being looked after between my In Laws and my Niece

Poor little fella, hope they can get hold of him soon. Can anyone get hold of any of your sister in laws clothing to maybe help to coax him in with, or anything with her scent on it ??

Panic over , he's back apparently he was through the gate of the MIL and a neighbour chased him in , to which he turned and bolted the other way , further chase round the town and they have him now , looking a bit sorry for himself as the weather was horrible there yesterday so they going to take him to the vet for a check up but all seems ok Big Grin

They've got one for him Kathy already (as I suggested the same to the MIL) but they let him off as mummy does , trouble is mummy is the only one that can get him back. He will come to you by choice but if you approach him .... no chance

Last I spoke with them he seemed a little shaken up- , he's a very nervous dog and they were going to pop him to the vet to be sure but I think so
