Strange
Well Vinnie was very unsettled last nite and didn't eat his breakfast, nor his tea. He has been arching his back and is very tense in his tummy area. Took him for his usual walk at 6pm which he kept lying down with his head on his paws so cut short the walk and came back home. He now keeps trying to get on my lap and burying his head in me. He had normal poos except for one at teatime which had grass in it and a little mucas. His nose is cold and is now just curled up beside me fast asleep. Do you think he may just have a funny tum and perhaps in a bit of pain?

Re: Strange
An arched back generally indicates stomach pain or discomfort. If he's off his food as well, it's probably either a bug or something he's eaten. Has he had any new food recently?
It could just be an upset tummy.

Re: Strange
Keep an eye on him, it's probably just an upset tum, but it doesn't hurt to be aware.
You'll probably find he's back to normal tomorrow!

Re: Strange
Thanks Caryll I will certainly keep a close eye on him. He seems to be in more comfort now so maybe its wearing off a little.

Re: Strange
He's probably feeling a bit sorry for himself, poor thing. I think it's a good idea to put him on light meals until it passes - give his digestive system a rest.

Re: Strange
Yeh will do Eleanor, though stepson cut the grass today and there were loads of clumps on the lawn whether he has eaten some of it I don't know. I always watch him but I wasn't here and the stepson is as much use as a chocolate fireguard!

Re: Strange
It's possible then. I'd just keep an eye on him for a while to see if he gets better
