Sad Atopy treatment/relief

Post by Gabbiadini Sun Jun 16 2013, 11:17

Hi guys

Has anybody found anything that helps to treat or relieve the effects of Canine Atopic Dermatitis?

The vet has given me a spray to use (Cortavance), but she still always seems to have red sore-looking paws in between the toes... Sad

FWIW... she is fed a quality food - started on JWB, moved onto Fish4Dogs for a year & recently switch to Eden Holistic

Thanks for any help...

Have you tried Dermacton? I think a few people have had good response to it on this forum for skin ailments

Not had a dog with it personally but yes I know who has a golden retriever with it

She uses a supplement called moxxor and feeds her dog a raw diet and after years of being on steroids he's much better at the moment

I'd advise looking ino a raw diet - it will often make a huge difference to skin problems.

Moxxor reported to have good effects, although I believe it's quite expensive?

Hey, if it works, it's worth the money! Much better than steroids!
