We went for a walk at a big park the other day and as the kids were filthy after that they had a good bath - with tick and flea shampoo as that was what I had in. That was on Thursday. I've just found a tick on Vinny which was dead. Is there anything else I should do as precaution other than wash their bedding etc? He does have DE in his food and I shall sprinkle some of that on him too.

No he'll be fine, Moo has had quite a few ticks because of the long wet grass

It's probably just one tick, in which case there's no need for anything else. If you find more, you can buy powders, spot-ons, etc. at your vets.
