Found glass in my chips :(

Had chips and pasta for dinner, but the chips had glass in them. I didn't realise until I found a lump of glass in my mouth.

And I'm hungry.

I think she'd probably go for the knives, if that was the case.

Yeah, the chips have gone back into the packaging and a very angry complaint will be made.

Scratched my mouth as well.  I didn't realise until later.

I'd like to say you'd get some compo but I don't know how it works, you'll end up with a lifetimes supply of free chips.

I don't think I could get anything like that, as I checked in the mirror earlier and couldn't actually see the scratch anymore. Annoying thing about mouth injuries!

I'll be writing a strong letter with a few threats in it!

I've kept the bit of glass & the packaging, but I've thrown the chips away - I didn't fancy packaging them up!

I don't think I'll be wanting to eat any more of their chips for a while.

chips and pasta??? is this some kind of italian/english fusion food gone wrong?
any way you have em under the food saftey act 1990 and keep all packaging and take lots of pics. if they dont comply mention that you will go public and take the case up with the small claims court. 9 times out of 10 they will cough up to save the brand.

omg...thats sooo bad, imagine the damage that could have been done if youd swallowed the glass! SueSueSue!

They could easily say that I put the glass in there though.

There is a lot to be said for peeling a spud and cutting it up...lol 
I would tend to take a photo of the package and the glass together then write to the manufacture and see what response you get.. The will no doubt what to examine the item to try to identify where it has come from so you need to keep a record of it ie the pic...  you could always contact your local paper if you don't get the outcome you like..

I'll probably just complain.  See what happens from there.

Yeah, I'm fine.  I think it was my gum, instead of my mouth, so that's not as bad.

Think it's worth complaining.

Definitely, even if we just get the money back for the chips.
