I consider myself to be decent at grammar. Having said that, after every single post I write I can always count on finding countless errors. It pisses me off every time!!! Never fails! I must sound like a 10 year old kid in my posts! I'm sure after I post this I'll find some more errors! Is it just me or do forums bring out the worst in grammar? at wits end

If it's not a literary forum, bring on the bad grammar. Tongues I used to admin a literary forum and yikes... It was like walking on egg shells! Laughing Spent so much time with proof-reading, it just took the fun out of it. So I quit and let it die. >Smile

Nah, it's still going. But it was actually a huge relief not to have to check grammar and spelling. Smile Part of the light-hearted nature of this forum is that it just doesn't matter, I think. Pretty sure the staffies don't care how good our grammar is! Big Grin

When all's said & done, if there are a few spelling mistakes or punctuation marks left out, who cares? Does it really make a difference to the end result, which is help, chat & a bit of fun!

I know what you mean. Tongues When I first joined here, I'd only just quit the literary forum (now there's the home of Gramar Nazis), so it was still quite fresh in my mind! Now, not so much Big Grin

I'm really bad when I’m posting using the phone, I either totally miss words out or have not noticed predictive text has added a totally irrelevant word.
I have ended up with some quite bazaar posts in the past which I have had to go back and edit
At least we can be thankfull for no text speak on the forums, that would drive me insane
