Poor boy :(

I check the rspca and all them pretty much twice a week, just to see some dogs who need a home, not that I can have one just looking at them and seeing how they get on...

This poor lad has been there for ages, he's not ever once been reserved and so many other dogs have, mostly because he's an older dog and a staffy, he's a beauty though and he is friendly and doesn't have any problem with him... If only my boy was friendly I would of rang by now... But yes, every time I check I always see if he's been reserved but no... Poor lad he deserves a good life and no one will take him.

What a lovely lad! My next will be an older staff, Moo was 10mnths ish and I can only rescue 1 at a time.

He is beautiful if my boy was friendly I'd be there to meet Kevin the first day I saw him online...

(PS ... You are braver than I looking at the shelter lists all the time - their pictures and their stories make me too sad, I want to rescue all of them!!)

He is lovely. I like to rescue older dogs myself, i can't be doing with puppies. Lexi was my only pup and she was a dream pup but i just couldn't wait for her to grow up lol

He's at cornwall rspca and not sure but he's been on the website for over a month, before they put him on the website I think they work with them and what not, so he's been there for a longer time than a month... There's been dogs on the website that got their forever homes and they got put on the website after he did... He's never been reserved not even once which is a shame

Joe, I do the same thing, it’s horrible the amount of Staffys in rescues is unbelievable.

Don’t know why I do it to myself always end up in tears looking at their little faces, and sad eyes, theirs a few that the photos of them have their tails tucked right under and they look terrified

I want to bring them all home ....

Ah okay, I was thinking about possibly trying to sort a transfer if he was a long stayer to see if he could be homed from here, but unfortunately a month in kennels isn't very long at all for staffies I've known them to do up to 5 years sometimes before getting homed! Very sad state of affairs.

I see I don't exactly know how long he's been there but most of the dogs that were out on the website after him have been rehomed but no one wants him, might be because he's older because their were some other staffys there that have been rehomed, I completely love Kevin if only I had the money and a friendly dog I would rehome him but there's no way I can any moment soon... I just hope he finds a lovely home and decent owners (which is rare in my area, most dogs hardly even get walked they just let the dogs in the back garden and leave them there).

I feel sorry for dogs since most owners are bad owners and the funny thing is most of them do t even know it, they think not walking a dog is fine which to me is not... :/
