What are you all doing today ???

Rubbish weather here today , been a howling gale all morning and now the rain has come. So we have opted for a movie afternoon , lit the fire , dogs snuggled up on the couch with the girls . At the moment writing this from the conservatory with the rain boincing off the roof

My idea of close to heaven, oh and I'm on the beer too

Can't blame you for having a beer or two there Dave, drown your sorrows and hope for better weather tomorrow

We have a very windy and sunny afternoon here

TBH Kathy I'm fine and thankfull for the rain , the opportunity for a cosy afternoon in front of the fire with the dogs and a beer is more appealing than the beach at the moment . OH is still recovering from a bug so doesn't want to do too much and at home all we have is a radiator in te front room to look at.

Man like fire It's the old caveman instinct kicking in .

We were just talking about skipping much in the summer hols and looking for a place in the lakes for the week at xmas where we can do this every day

Woman like fire too, soooo wish we had an open fire here, although I wouldn't get much done during the day I would be constantly looking at it

If you want the place in the lakes for Christmas would be wise to get booked up early for that week, they go very quickly

Oooh my idea of bliss too, afternoon in front of the fire, were having a girly day, me Molly & darcy watching DVDs. OH and son gone the flicks to watch

Going to have a proper look when I get home , doesn't have to be the lakes though , maybe te dales or somewhere . Criteria = middle of nowhere , proper fire , garden for the kids an some nice walks around

Weather's pretty decent here but I'm feeling exhausted for some unknown reason, so I'm eating and watching Desperate Housewives

We have glorious sunshine so have been for a wander to the woods, chilling with the boys now and back to work tonight

I finished my jumps and did some butchery!

Enjoying the sunny weather here in Donegal.Gonna write some posts for my blog now i'm inspired.

Windy and sunny here, (well was) had a lovely walk enjoyed the Blubells, Cooking tea then wine, wine, wine!

Had a lovely walk this morning, then done some gardening and cleaning, then another walk! Tired now, just chilling for the rest of the night

Me and OH took the dogs to Northumberland show for the day, we had a fab time. The dogs are now snoring on the couch!

I've got a snoring dog on here too!

I'm at a wedding. Big posh job in stately home. I've drunk until the bar staff starting crying and now I'm sat in my room tackling a litre of vodka neat wife is snoring next to me. On the plus side breakfast starts in an hour and I'm starving

Oh and internet connection is crap. 20 mins I've just wasted posting that.

Nothing interesting here. I had a 2 hour meeting to basically learn no one had started a project I thought was all but complete

Work now crap!

Im supposed to be at work, but ended up with an emergency appointment to the dentist with an absess instead

ouch hope the dentist sorts you out

So do I...it's gonna be the first time ever that ive gone there on my own...im scared If I see an injection mind, im outta there!

Turns out its a lot of swelling from my wisdom teeth, however, i had braces for two years and they said my mouth was too small for any more teeth to grow and since ive had my brace off, ive had two more sets of teeth come through causing all my bottom ones to move which means i had a brace for nothing And because orthadontiks are cosmetic, id have to pay for it all if i wanted work doing. Fuming.

Still in pain, if its not gone in two weeks they will give me antibiotics. I wont be here in two weeks so ill have to find another dentist...aaahhhhh its such a pain in the a**

Enjoy you 2 We had a lovely day yesterday , took the kids to the seaside and did 1 of the coastal walks , breathtaking scenery , and also taking my breath with all that up and down stuff 5 miles of fresh air though and the weather wasn't supposed to be very good but we had a great day as a surprise , only got caught in 1 shower Much more gloomy today though . Looking like shopping this morning and the pictures this afternoon whilst the kids chill out back at the ranch with mummy

Forgot to add when we returned home from our walk at 14.30 there was a power cut so no water either as it is pumped from a local source , infear of rapid dehydration I opted to drink lots of lager until it eventually came back on at 10.30 last night

We won't be coming back here for a while now , fab place but fancy a change of scenery for the next hol. As Jen is 13 now and no Santa and we can't see the grandbairn (family probs ) OH wants me to look for a log cabin with fire in the Lakes for Xmas , no tree , no decorations , just family time and of course beer

Sounds lovely! If you fancied Norfolk you could stay where we stay, log burner, lovely quiet accessible place with a very friendly pub next door

Of course lots of beer, it's a shame family probs getting in the way of seeing your grandchild Dave I'm sure Xmas in the lakes would be fab, not sure about no tree or decy's that's my fave bit

Norfolk would be ok , can you get me a discount
