Bloody cat!
I felt sorry for the cat Dempsey caught in our garden the other day. But now it's hard to feel sorry for that same cat that's just killed two young chicks. Animal instinct and all that, but it wouldn't kill the owners to put a damn bell on its collar at the very least!
Or, y'know... Castrate it so it isn't spraying in everybody's gardens, keeping people awake at night with its kitty fights and making babies with the rest of the neighbourhood cats.
Really does my head in when certain people are so quick to cry out about an out of control dog or one that keeps mounting their bitch. But when it comes to cats, it's all fine? Hypocrisy to the highest extent.

Re: Bloody cat!
Know how you feel! The neighbors cats are doing my head in too. They are big cats and not castrated (and I doubt have any sort of medical care) and they are chasing my cats away from their own place! I've had to start locking the cats in to make sure they get peace to eat something! And cause mine are neutered they don't spray and don't have the balls to stand and fight. Poor kitty's.

Re: Bloody cat!
My cousin's cat recently gave birth to a litter of kittens. I don't know why it's important for dogs to be neutered or controlled and not allowed to be bred, but with cats, you can let them out to go wherever they want and do what they want, and they're not even neutered. It is very hypocritical.

I does kinda drive me crackers that they can Roam about doing what they want but dogs can't, granted not all cat owners are the same, I guess as with anything the few give the rest a bad name.

Re: Bloody cat!
My problem isn't actually with the cat. Yes, it's sad that the cat did it and yes, I cursed it loudly. But it's the irresponsibility of some owners that drives me up the wall.
