bloody cold

i'm sick of it my nose is like sand paper and sore

Have you tried using cotton hankerchiefs Steve, I take it you are using paper ones at the mo?

I used to have that problem as soon as I had a cold, runny nose. Got a pack of cotton hankerchiefs and no more sore nose. It still runs though

if i'm still like this tomoz i'm going to buy a few

The kleenex ones with balsam are quite good - they really are kinder on your nose!
