Good Quality Dry Dog Food
Help!
Over the years between the 2 SBT's we have had, we have used different dry dog food. Our first dog, Max, was a sensitive soul and had to get stuff from the vet (which cost a fortune) then we switched to Oscar when our Postman was promoting it. Max ate it without too much fuss (and it was a bit cheaper than the vet stuff). Molly our current dog never really liked it and it would end up being wasted. I bought Bakers complete one time we had run out and she scoffed it, so gave up on the Oscar stuff. Now my partner has read that BC is just junk, so need recommendations for something else that won't cost an arm and a leg (and is quite easy to buy).
Many thanks
Kx

Re: Good Quality Dry Dog Food
The vast majority of good quality foods aren't sold in supermarkets and etc., unfortunately. I also feed Wainwrights and have never had any issues with it

We feed Rocky Barking Heads but this isn't widely available, you can get it in Jolleys if you have one. James Welbeloved is a good quality food which is reasonable priced and more easily available, Pets at Home stock it and it's often on offer there too.

James Wellbeloved, arden grange, wainwrights. All widely available and decent value and good quality.
Don't pay over the odds for foods I've found from trying most brands that price doesn't mean a thing about quality.

Re: Good Quality Dry Dog Food
Well, we have tried Wainright's and so far she is eating it. Yesterday was first of us trying it on its own and not mixed with old stuff. She also seems happier, brighter (in body and mind).... she gets a bit of a runny eye in the summer and this doesn't seem so bad either - well done Wainright's!!
