This might sound silly but can dogs sense the weather?

this mornin (well afternoon to u folks) my oh got up to get his wee girl from school an both dogs just came an snuggled right into me as normal, but usually after about an hr or so Diesel will get up an start barkin she wants out...but today I woke up good hr an half later...an they were both cuddled right in an all I heard was the rain beltin off the window (got to love that scottish weather!) so since neither of them were movin I just snuggled back down.
I only finally just got up 45mins ago (barin in mind i'm nightshift an dont go to bed til around 8/9am) cause everyime I stirred they just snuggled closer in!
So am just wonderin if they too fancied a duvet day coz its mingin outside??

I'd say so, Moo hates the rain! She gets dragged out anyway! Xx

Ive noticed it a few times before, but its the first time is been proper rank outside since i've had the two of them. It was snowin/hail last night at about 3/4am! An it was still icy cold when I took them out the backa 6, so they probs have thought "screw that....mmmm duvet" lol

thinking Not sure tbh, maybe they can smell when it's going to rain and prefer to stay in the dry

I think they can sense the weather, but Dempsey really doesn't care. He goes out no matter what the weather's like.

Unfortunately. Sad

The only silly question is the question that isn't asked.
