Rosco, Staffie, DOB 05.08 – Handcross, West Sussex
Homing Requirements: Rosco needs a special family to be at the heart of. He adores children but older children suggested as he isn't dog fluent. He needs garden and front door security with secondary exit management e.g. he needs to be behind the lounge door when the front door is opened. He is concerned around dogs unless guided with confidence; needs reassurance and gentle intros or avoidance. Only pet status with no visiting dogs.
His Story: Rosco was found stray as an 8 month pup, homed with young children successfully, but found stray 9 months later, then again 15 months after that 60 miles from home and emaciated. We nursed him back to health in foster. Rosco is fostered in Handcross, West Sussex. He is neutered, chipped and vax'd.

Advert: Emperor Rosco is here to entertain and has a very loving and relax demeanour. Rosco doesn't intrinsically trust dogs and tries to avoid them, so needs an owner who reassures, manages dog encounters by keeping him moving and avoiding intrusive off lead dog encounters. He should be retained on an extender lead in open spaces and on a short lead around streets. He is easy to walk after initial excitement. Housetrained and not destructive, he can be easily left whilst at work without event. Only pet status. Travels well in the car secured with a harness or in a crate.
Rosco is a small well-proportioned mahogany-brindle Staffie who is around 5 years old. He has a cheeky smile and is well loved. Rosco enjoys family life and so deserves to be in the heart of the family’s activities. He has the sweetest of natures, meets people with an open heart and has lived successfully with young children.

More pics of Rosco doing so well in foster while he waits for his home ...
Licking the yoghurt pot!
Sunbathing
Pub garden
Rosco with his buddy, James
"Our beautiful boy in between the bluebells"
This made me chuckle- Rosco clambered onto his fosterers lap (she had a duvet on her) and he got himself into the funniest position with his bottom in the air!
Rosco is still available for adoption.
