Bad drink experience
What drink can you not drink because you drank to much of it and it made you really sick . Mine is Pernod because I drank too much on my birthday once. I can't bear the smell or taste of aniseed

Pernod for me, too! I went to a 'do' with my sister when I was about 16-ish and all her friends plied me with Pernod. I wasn't all that bad that night, but as soon as I put my head on the pillow the world turned upside down!
Then in the morning I had a drink of water & I felt drunk again & was really ill. I haven't touched the stuff since!

Re: Bad drink experience
Rum. Christmas before last, I was really depressed and drank too much. I decided to have one more little drink before I called it quits. By the time I staggered across to the bottle of rum, the writing on the bottle was blurry and wouldn't stay still. I thought it said 3.8% when it actually said 38%. Cue the entire glass of rum chugged back. Cue the spinning room. Cue the horrible sick feeling. Unfortunately, I have a real fear of being sick, so there was no place else for it to go than further into my body.
I'll never touch the stuff again!

Re: Bad drink experience
Whisky (though I have had 1 or 2 of them sip n shake moments when people have forced one on me since)
My mate took me out to the club to have a drink with the lads for my 20th BD , 13 pints and whisky chasers (we counted them all but can't promise they all stayed down) they forced me to drink more whiskey when I couldn't drink any more beer.
They put me in a house front forecourt on the way home about 3 or 4 metre by 1.5 metre with a gate and I couldn't find my way back out ( I could have stepped over the 2ft high railings if I'd wanted too)
Was ill for a good solid 3 days after

Bourbon is American whiskey like Jack Daniels or Jim Beam

Bourbon is made from corn and has a sweeter, richer and more syrupy taste than scotch - most decent bourbon is almost caramelly with an oak flavor to it .. tastes great going down, not so great going the other way though

Got to love the Tequila ...
First time I drank it I was in a bar and can remember saying 'I've never had that before' and taking the first few rounds of shots - after that all I remember is a flashing light, a door and waking up the next day on the bottom of a shower fully clothed, saturated and wrapped around a bucket ... was sick for a good three days after!

Re: Bad drink experience
When I was a kid I knocked myself out on a bottle of 20/20, 2 bottles of merrydown and a small pop bottle with a bit of everything out of a friends parents drink cabinet. Like a true gent I just blamed the cider. Was that bad I couldn't even drink apple tango without wanting to puke. So about 10 years ago I thought enough is enough and drunk cider until I liked it again. It took some doing but if you put the work in
