post amputation joy
well, first of all apologies i have hardly posted in a while, seems its been a while.
Anyhows some of you may remember my wee murphy having both his dew claws amputated?
well, healed well and hes back to being the bouncy happy dog he always was.
Took him for his first park walk (had to do slow concrete walks) for a run around yesterday. Was brilliant. I had bought one of these long line leads to ensure his nearly perfect recall was still there and we had such a fun time with it.
Churns more interaction rather then, "be free and run my friend" lol
But he was soooooo happy to be out.
He is weird with his running, i imagine its like getting your big toes removed, so he flops about like a retarded baby gazelle!
Tried to get pics and video but unfortunately I bought a samsung galaxy and some of you may be aware of the cataclysmic incompetence that comes with them >

Re: post amputation joy
So glad to hear that Murphy has come through his dew-claw removal well. I can see from your avatar what a nuisance at least one of them must have been - he's better off without them.
You'll be back to full fitnes soon Murphy ><
