update on leroy

So that was 3 weeks on sun since we brought Leroy home from the pound, an he's settled in really well, proper part of the family an Diesel is defo loving havin a playmate!
He was a little underweight when we got him, his ribs an spin totally stickin out so i've been feeding him up a bit just til he looks a bit healthier, he's put on 0.6kg so far which is good an he's most definitely loving bein on the raw diet! As most dogs would i imagine. I've started introducin turkey mince as well as his chicken an seems fine with it which is good. He still gets very excited when his foods bein prepared an gets rather loud but we'r workin on it. He'll now sit and wait til his bowl is on the floor before munchin, instead of tryin to eat it mid air! Lol
Been workin on sum tricks too, he could sit an give paw so i'v been workin on lie-down an roll over. Also been workin on leave to try an curb is impulse control issues!
Think he's loving all the big walks he's gettin, even better when he's on his long lead an he can run and chase Diesel, his recall is perfect if there is nothin to distract him but not so great if there is anythin about but i'm sure it'l take time. Havin Diesel helps coz if u shout one they both tend to come runnin for a treat! Lol

I'm so glad we decided to give Leroy a forever home, he's such a big laidback lad who loves cuddlin in an snorin away. Think he's had a hard life cause he still shys away sometimes an can be a bit nervous round loud noises. But all in all he's a wee diamond! X

I know where has the time went! Its weird sometimes it feels like hes always been here an other times im like omg is 3weeks!
He's a total poster boy for rescue staffys like, totally shows not all dogs are abandoned coz they have issues or are "bad dogs". I mean i always knew this but was still cautious he might have sum hidden issues.
He is my diamond in the ruff - bad pun intended lol
