Stafford proof toys
I've scoured the earth for 'indestructible' toys that won't be destroyed in 10 mins tops
What do you buy for your dogs + where from

I should have added, Boris has a boomer ball but works himself up into such a frenzy we have to take it away when he growls at Tilly for looking at it !!! I daren't get another as each wants what the other has got + it would start a war

Re: Stafford proof toys
I'm interested in any replies to this as nothing lasts for my staffie except a boomer ball. I have to limit him with this as he overdoes it and has hurt his mouth and legs because he is over zealous. Did try a ball made for horses to play with, (cant remember what they are called) and that lasted longer than usual but they are really expensive.
Now I just buy cheap footballs when they are on offer, knowing that they will be punctured in minutes.
Harry likes his kong too and that has lasted for quite a while.

Re: Stafford proof toys
the longest toy we have had is a kong that you put treats in. Billy does not like boomer balls he just barks at them, but maybe he is too young yet

Re: Stafford proof toys
Hmmmm, I thought Bandit was a terror for detroying toys but Dempsey..........
He has destroyed hard balls, nylabones, tug toys, frisbees, kongs, squeeky toys (don't they all?), motor bike tyre, footballs. The only thing he hasn't destroyed yet is his boomer ball & I think that's because he's only allowed it when we go over the park!

Re: Stafford proof toys
NO! NEVER LET THEM HAVE A GOLF BALL! They are too small & too hard - if they get caught in the throat you won't be able to dislodge it & your poor dog will suffocate!

Re: Stafford proof toys
My mum bought barney a kong ball. It's fab totally solid.. he carries it about in his mouth but can't destroy it. I've had to buy him a new kong.. he kept picking at his red one so i've ordered the extreme black one... Hope this lasts a bit longer.
