Off-Lead Milton
I found a really nice walk today, literally only about 5 mins drive from my house. It's a footpath through a wood, which opens out into a big field, then through another wood. Here's a few pics and a video of Milton exploring the long grass
Excuse the wind-noise on the video
Quick drink back in the car
Happy boy
(And yes, I have taken the back seat out of my car so he's got more room to roam around )

Thanks ladies
Yep, glorious sunshine all day, it might almost be shorts weather soon...
Really pleased I spotted the footpath sign when I was passing it the other day, it's a really nice walk with some great views

That looks like a lovely place for a walk. I managed to find another one the other day too. Sometimes they can be in the least expected places.

Re: Off-Lead Milton
One of the pleasures of living in the middle of nowhere, Kathy I've lived here for about four years, and now I'm finally getting out and exploring the countryside thanks to my boy
Only slight problem I've run into in the past week is that he seems to be quite obsessed with cows - one of the fields by my house has cattle in it for half of the year, the farmer's just put them in there for the summer and Milton's very curious about them - to the point that when we went out in the garden the other night, he sneaked off to have another look. I only turned my back for a second He's getting better though, I walk him past them 2/3 times a day so that he can get used to them and use the 'leave' command if he shows more than a passing interest. Now I seem to have gone off-topic and started rambling, sorry

Re: Off-Lead Milton
Thanks everyone
Just got back from taking him for a run around my field, don't think he liked it as much because the grass is shorter Still, he's asleep for a bit now so I get a bit of peace to make dinner...

Re: Off-Lead Milton
Thank you all Had another great walk up there this morning, then down by the river this afternoon, resulting in Milton having a swim... then rolling in the mud by the edge
