Logan's Morning Walk - Page 2 Empty Logan's Morning Walk

Post by Guest Sun Apr 28 2013, 12:15

First topic message reminder :

I haven't posted in a while so I took a few pics from this morning. It is very wet here today so I just went to the park near my house.

I got a shorter 15ft training lead made and attached it to my flexi lead so it isn't restricting him in any way, and I don't have to carry a soaking wet, filthy lead either.

Bit of a brag, but he has been so good lately and I'm very proud of him. As most of your know he has issues with certain dogs and struggles when around them. But the past few days I have seen a massive improvement in him, it nearly seems he isn't even concerned with other dogs anymore. Smile

He's a little teapot.

I also tried to take a video, but it is pretty rubbish because I am on my own and have to keep my eyes out for dogs coming etc. But anyway...

You are right Daniel, I just need to make sure the time is right.

I had two wee dogs before Logan and it does get a bit much at times but it is rewarding too Smile

Thanks Cody and Les.

Yes, with any luck things are looking great. He did brilliantly today too, we even met a moron with two off lead GSD's running wild and Logan stayed with me watching me hold his toy instead of rising to them.

All's looking great Big Grin

Ah, Loki does this too, he sits on the edge of the shed (same kind of wood pattern as the one in your picture) and just falls asleep in the sun. It's a tough life, eh? Laughing. He's such a handsome boy Love Struck

Thanks, he loves the sun. Maybe too much though sometimes lol! Laughing

I bring him inside after a while because his wee nose dries out and it couldn't be good after a long period.

He likes that spot because he is private and I can't see him from where I'm sitting (even though he can't get out and I could see anyone getting in).

The only time Loki likes privacy is when he wants to misbehave. He waits until your back's turned and then makes a run for the kitchen counter Laughing. Logan always has this serious/wise look in his pics so I can never imagine him misbehaving Big Grin

Generally, he is very good. Has his moments, like all of them though. Laughing

I'm very harsh on him I feel, he actually is very easy to look after.

I'm getting a new boiler in today so I'm praying he is ok with the worker coming to fit it, that he doesn't jump all over him and cry etc. praying
