Yep, there's days when I'm around farms and maybe driving a couple of hundred miles in a day and I'm still on the forum all day Laughing

It's the only way to be Inez anyway. I did the sobriety thing for a few months before and it was so boring. I didn't enjoy one minute of it.

i am currently in the early stages of making tripple cooked chips to go with my steak and roast veg dinner and more importantly a nice bottle of Rose wine to wash it all down with and seeing as how i dont drink often i may me a little bit sozzled later :-) !!!

It's a very strange job tbh.

Basically, I work with local Irish farmers, I go out to farms to see what they've grown and bring back samples to test. I have a warehouse beside my office to test them all to see what they could be sold for. Then, when I know what they can be used for I can sell the Farmer's crop for him to a processor etc and pay the farmer.

I have the office for just phone calls and computer work etc. But there are only so many farms, so I'm not out every day.

I buy a lot of crops from over seas and get them over here too for when the Irish season is finished.

Unusual job but it's easy going and I never have anyone telling me what to do etc.

I've been likened to Del boy before tbh lol. It's an interesting job, can be quiet at times, but farming folk tend to be the best. Everytime you arrive at a farm they are always glad to see ya, normally have lovely dogs too. Have a bit of a chat and see what they've been up to.

The farmer's Wife or Mum normallly makes a good feed too lol.

Basically, I see what the farmers crop can be sold for, how much they are worth. Then sell them for him and pay him, keeping the profit.

There's a bit of nerdy testing etc, but it's very boring to describe lol.
