haven
So now i've got 2 babies there's no1 really to look after them so holidays abroad are a no-no cause i wouldn't leave them in kennels, so for the first time ever i've booked up to go to Haven!
It's gonna b me, my oh + his wee girl, my sis in-law with her 2 wee boys, her oh an her 15yr old daughter an of course the groosum twosum! Should b fun (?) lol
My only worry is when i clicked in to book the 2dogs it came up about their banned breeds, now it didn't say staffies but it said Pitbulls (well pitballs obvious typo) an well i'v had comments about Leroy lookin pitbully, now i know most ppl that say this dont know what their talkin bout but i'm just worried the people at Haven will say it an we'l be asked to leave!
Has anyone took their dogs to Haven before?

Re: haven
Are you able to drop an email to the resort and ask them about the policy, I wouldn't risk paying for the holiday then turning up only to be asked to leave, you probably wouldn't get your money back either.

Re: haven
This is from Havens Terms & Conditions, you should be fine dont stress about it:
Pets on holiday
We welcome well-trained dogs in some of our holiday homes and on some of our pitches for a small charge - although we don’t accept dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act. We can sometimes take other types of pet - but you’ll need to ask the General Manager at the park before you book. If you have a dog that’s noisy or behaving badly, we may ask you to take them away. So please keep your dog on a lead and make sure a responsible adult is looking after them.
You can find out more about charges and where we accept dogs on the individual park pages of our brochure.
We do, of course, accept registered assistance dogs in all of our holiday homes.

Had Diesel at a cabin last year in the middle of no where, she was fine apart from when we went outside for a cigi she'd cry an howl but she's calmed down a lot now with her crying when she's not included now she's a bit older.

Re: haven
They're not dog experts, I'm sure if you tell them they're Staffs, they'll accept them as Staffs, which is what they are. Enjoy the holiday, good to have a nice break

Re: haven
We took our previous staffy to a couple of different haven sites on the east coast. he was actually a cross and a lot of people told me he was a pit bull type. however on the holiday the only comment i got from site staff was how well behaved and friendly he was! admittedly he was a good boy but we had no issue. We also went to butlins caravan village and had no problems there either. generally i think as long as they are not being a nuisance there is no problem.

Re: haven
You will be fine, which Haven are you going to? We have been to a couple with our doggies and you would be surprised how many staffords and crosses there are on the south coast. I thought I might get some problems with my 3 but have only had positives
