In a park not far away there are big signs on the gate Dogs welcome when kept on lead. Well i found this in the park wardens newsletter and it made me think, how many of us have met people like her? and she would scream vicious staffy dog out of control. I just love the wardens post. What do you think?

Hate people like that. You're right, she would be one of those people complaining about vicious Staffs, it's often the ones that have their dogs off the lead and not under control.

How can people be THAT rude? Surprised

"I know what the rules are but they don't apply to me"

Very familiar everyone has their dogs off lead where we go. In fact Dylan was bothered by a lab last week came over off lead growling then it tried to attack him. He defended his self and because he was on an extender lead it wrapped round my wifes legs tight. This caused a huge bruise on her legs from the rope lead. All the man said was sorry he won't do a thing I tell him. If that's the case why let him off in the first place angry

You know, all the bad experiences you all have with off-lead dogs, I'm so pleased that all the off-lead dogs have been friendly (or willing to listen to their owner), and the aggressive dogs are kept away from us or put back on a lead. I have new respect for the dog owners in my area Laughing

too true is this, with out sounding out of order, i am who i am, when im out walking tyke i wear joggers and uggs i probally look like a 'yob' but i can confirm im far from but i still get the looks as if i am in the wrong. People like her need ot be told thats its not rule for one and another for her if this was the case the sign would read 'dogs must be kept on leads if you are a yob and come from lower class but if you are a respectable lady from higher earnings then please feel free to let your dogs roam'

I had it the other day on route thru the local park tyke was on the lead as its a park with kids in and an elderly gent with two staffs and a fluffy breed were coming towards and all three wa off leads, came bounding over all sniffing and one didnt like tyke so had a little snap, now im 5ft nothing with a strong dog as it is, luckly tyke didnt bat an eye lid BUT again irresponsilble dog owners, what would i have done if this had a escalated!!

Very true. If it was a young lad with a Stafford it would probably been in "The Sun".

Ohhh yes I've met people like her before, that the law doesn't apply to them. Doesn't matter what law is it yes they do all still apply to you too. It's very difficult to get this across sometimes. They would expect the police to be at there home immediately if they had an intruder though.
