Tommy sends his best wishes and fellow manly thoughts to Kuchar on his pending Conker removal Wednesday >Big Grin< and I do too. I can safely say there is not a single operation possible for man , beast etc that will raise sympathies between the whole of the animal kingdom >Big Grin< >Big Grin<

Oh bless you Dave and Tommy, thank you.

I never felt this bad about having my bitches spayed (they had phantom pregnancies after every season so it was worth it overall).

I'm just praying he will sail through the op and the aftermath, my son will never forgive me if anything happens, my worst nightmare.

Try not to worry to much. The hardest part will be keeping quiet and rested after the op.

He's just going to come around , lean down for a little self service and think Surprised

You need to get yourself some clackers to tease him with and as you bounce them together you can tell him no-one messes with the mummy >Smile >Smile

And for you kids that don't know what clackers are

Laughing Dave, you do cheer me up!

Didn't know you could still get clackers! I was in Austria when they came out and all the kids had them. They were called Knockers (pronounced K-nokkers) but when they hit England a few weeks later, the name was changed to Clackers - I can't think why!

He'll be fine! The most trouble you'll have is keeping him quiet for a couple of days - good luck with that! Laughing

Thank you Ben for your good wishes - I'll save them up because yes Dave, tomorrow is The Day. I've just taken all Kuchar's food, chewies etc away so he will have an empty tummy tomorrow.

And no don't worry, we're only having a larf! And laughter releases tension which is good.

Thank you Caryll and Eleanor, I will let you know. How I'm going to keep him quiet I do NOT know, he's such a boisterous little so-and-so. And with a lampshade on his head he won't even be able to investigate what's going on "down below" and unfortunately that has been one of his biggest interests up to now.

Thank you Cody and Ebony!

You've all been absolute diamonds. I know it's not the worst thing in the world and a lot of dogs on this forum alone have been through much worse. I'm such a wuss and worry-guts; thank you all for your patience and messages of support.

No problem at all Lynda! Any surgery at all, no matter how common or uncommon it is, is always a very nail biting thing for any owner to go through Smile though I'm sure he'll be fine Big Grin

Hi everyone! You've all been most kind and reassuring - thank you all once again. The deed has been done, and I've decided to start a separate post No More Nuts since so many of you have been kind enough to ask for updates on Kuchar's experience .
