Hi im a staffie mum

Hi,
I was very pleased to find this forum as im a mum of 2 very different staffies. Im an aussie who lives in a country town in victoria who has loved staffies for along time. Ive owned 4 over my life, my first one was a very broad brindle bitch who was very quiet natured with an amazing personality who died from a brown snake 6 years ago ans is still in my heart. My second brindle bitch also had the same devating end....i lived a farm....i then got my first gold staffie from a rescue and moved into town where i havent encountered any deadly browns yet, she is now 11 years old and a little grumpy, but i still lov her and she is very well trained and shes the granma in the house. Then just under 2 years ago i adopted a tiny little bitch ( the runt of the litter) from my son who didnt have the time for her who is my little baby, she goes everywhere with me and is a very playfull ans sometimes annoying staffie. Im hopin to get some must needed advice about some issues lately and look forward to a chat.

The naughty ones are the most adorable ones; that's how they get out of trouble

Never but ahe is always 2 cms behind me verywhere i go so i dont have any privacy...lol..i do have another old staffie who just tries to stay away from her overactive sister...lol...she has the most beautiful gold eyes to match her coat and shes spoilt. Unless you are a staffie lover you wouldnt understand that they are like your children...ups and downs...lol

Totally agree! I swear Duke drives me BONKERS then he acts all cute and i forget why i was mad in the first place. I cant wait too hear more about them / see more pics

Well ellas in time out at the moment for annoying rocky, she is way too old to be bothered by a yougin, so she is now crying in the laundry and im trying to ignore her...10 mins sin bin then she can get out and ill take her for a walk so i can tire her out...the disadvantages of having a just under 2 year old and a nearly 12 year old staffys....lol

Is pixee in the photo...she i presume its a she is absolutely beautiful..my first staffy was a black brindle named diesel ahe was the best staffy i have eva had. I have gold ones now coz i didnt want them to remind me off the dog i lost, it killed me and i still miss her today. Your profile pic dog looks like she'd have a very cheeky personality

Yes its Pixee and yes its a she. She is actually a brindle, but she is more dark and white than brindle. She always does look dark. Alot of people always comment on how pretty or beautiful she is. And oh yes, she has got a cheeky personality , knows just how to get round us at the right time too. She is a rescue, and didnt know how to play, and didnt like being touched, now she will paw at your for her stomach to be rubbed, sits on you for cuddles, play games with you when on a walk. And the amazing thing is, I can leave food on the floor on a plate, and she wont touch it. She is my first staffie, and we all just love her to bits. So I can understand why you cant have another dark staffie.
