Charlie is getting more confident when he hears other dogs over the fences in the back garden! He ran out today looking all proud and firm, his tail sticking straight out and gave quite a few deep barks. Thought this breed was supposed to be quiet! lol.

They're the opposite of quiet Laughing they're very vocal. Good he's getting more confident though, better than them being too scared of anything. I like when they grow up and do their deep barks though, I was happy Loki outgrew his squeaky barks Big Grin

He's more confident meeting other dogs too but still tries to get away if one barks at him. He likes to sniff other dogs but soon whips round if they try to sniff him back! lol

Pleased to read that Charlie is feeling more confident in himself, that also means that he is more trusting in you too which is great for any dog owner. Well done

He didn't like the children being on a skateboard just now! Had to get daughter to take it out the front as he wouldn't stop barking at it! She tried to get him to come close but he was having none of it!

I get what you mean by being quiet, they do make some weird noises but when it comes to barking I found that most staffys are very quiet and don't bark as much.
My boy only barks when he's asleep at night and hears people shouting outside, and sometimes he doesn't even bark then but other than that he never ever barks

He's less concerned when we walk past a garden round the corner where the dog always barks, he used to pull to get away but walks on lovely now Smile
