Charlie has discovered....
...upstairs!!!! lol. The children last week were up before me a couple of mornings and let Charlie into the hall because he could hear movement upstairs, he usually just stands on the first few steps looking like all head chest and no legs but they encouraged him up...there's no stopping him now! He's getting more confident coming down(when we can get him to!!! lol) and as soon as the living room door opens he's over trying to go up! I wonder if I can get the children to sort out the bedroom floors now!!!

Re: Charlie has discovered....
Loki used to love running up the stairs, and he was too scared to climb down so someone had to carry him . He's not allowed upstairs though so he knows and will just wait at the bottom like a good boy. Well, if Charlie's running up the stairs now, you can expect a HUGE amount of noise

Yep darcy loves goin upstairs, I said before we got her that she wasn't aloud upstairs or on beds, but that soon went out the window, I'm glad his confidence is growing by the day.

Ahhh bless him, I bet he loved getting on the beds and under the duvet, we dont have an upstairs as we live in a flat but I'm sure Rocky would up and down the stairs

Lol same here with Marley, he would go up and sit there whining, I'd fetch him down and he'd run straight back up again, this would be repeated several times I eventually got him to walk down by placing treats mid way while he was up top. Laska didnt have a problem at all but I think thats because Marley was about to show her how its done.

I never wanted him to learn how to get down them because he dives up them like a lunatic, it was constantly worrying

lol, Charlie sometimes comes down way too fast and jumps the last few steps, worrying when it's about a third up!! The OH let him come up this morning as he was down first (think he was trying to get me up to do childrens' breakfast as he didn't want to!!) and he jumped onto the bed with me, think he was snuggling in hubby's warm spot!
