The Friday Night Topic
First topic message reminder :
Where is your usual Friday post?
Right here, Ellie.
So, how is everyone's evening going? The sun is still out here in sunny Portadown and I'm enjoying a few cheeky tins.
What are you all at this evening?

Re: The Friday Night Topic
Not a wine lover myself. Wake up with a stinkin headache, peeling my face off the pillow and shaving my tongue. Really does ruin me.
As for a Friday song, this one always gets me in the mood for weekends..

Re: The Friday Night Topic
The singer in that band died recently very young and I actually shed a tear (not like me), he was beyond talented and had a wee daughter which he loved more than life itself.
Albeit, he set the bar so high nobody will ever do what he can.

Mat, you've posted some actual mellow songs, so I daftly expected it to actually be mellow . Mattylee, I have no idea, it was years ago I heard it I'll see if I can find it.

Oh yeah, Mitch something? Remember hearing about that, didn't know they were a young band, very sad . I had a bit of a tear shed when I found out Chi died, also unlike me, but hey, no shame in it.

Yea Mitch Lucker, died on a bike.
I saw them live and he had his wee daughter and wife/fiance at the side of the stage (with bomb earmuffs on) and she just seemed to adore him and he carried her around the stage every chance he could.
Pity there wasn't more like that IMO!

Loki's bomb-proof, he'll sleep through us watching/listening to anything. When The Shining was on, he did have a sudden loud bark/growl at the elevator scene though . He wasn't happy when we were watching The Thing either, apparently he's not a horror film fan.

I'm a wimp, but I love horror films. I go out with my mum, aunties and cousins to see a new one in the pictures and they're all shrieking, covering their faces with scarves, it's hilarious

You don't need to be woried about stuff in horror films. You should be more concerned about someone pumping gas into the cab robbing you blind and giving you a beating o an inch of your life >
Sorry was having a john smiths no nonsense moment

My dad and mum are both HGV class 1 drivers. Dad used to work for an Italian firm years ago. The Italians are really bad at gasing the cabs out

Yeah but not to kill you, it just knocks you out long enough while they empty the contents of the trailer into vans and leave before you wake up and catch any details like number plates, faces etc
