Sad Shéara Empty Sad Shéara

Post by Guest Thu Apr 18 2013, 16:27

Iv'e had a house full for the past 5 days including Rumor (Shéara's rotty friend). Everyones now gone home and Shéara's looking really sorry for himself and is'nt interested in anything. He's sitting on the couch curled up (normally he's cuddled up to me Sad ) I know he will be like this for at least 3 days, its almost like he's missing Rumor. Is there anything I can do to cheer him up so to speak? He's not interested in toys and I know he wont eat his dinner tonight although he's on yummy fish food kibble now. Ive treated him to a bit of peanut butter in his kong then he's straight back on the couch. I hate seeing him so miserable Sad

Aaawww, he's so sensitive Sad can't suggest anything really, could you not use some treats to do some training or fun games with him? Hope he cheers up soon.

Would an extra walk cheer him up? He might be picking up your anxiety or he could be shattered cos of the last few days playing. Big Grin . My girls will always cheer up for a tug game.

A good long walk should do the trick and he may even meet some new friends on the way around.

He's had half an hours training sesh, we've been for an hours walk and met a couple of friendly alsatians, come home and thank god he's eaten his dinner!! Played with his toy and did zoomies around the garden and now he's sleeping.

Another walk after my tea sounds like a plan Smile
