Shéara's birthday...
Although I dont know Shéara's dob, its unfair on him to not have a birthday so ive decided to use the day that we rescued him from the shelter, 6th June. It gonna be a special one as we missed his first birthday due to confusion about his age Im looking for gift ideas, something different...
Also doggy birthday cake recipies will be muchly appriciated

Re: Shéara's birthday...
Great birthday cake recipe below, Dave did this one for Tommy earlier this year:
Ingredients:
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tsp vanilla 1/3 cup honey
1 egg
1 cup white or whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
Dog biscuits for decoration
Optional: Banana, more peanut butter, frankfurter hot dogs for ‘candles’
Preheat oven to 180°C
Mix together flour and baking soda and add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour all of it into a ring mold sprayed with a nonstick spray, and leave in the oven for 40 minutes.
If you’re feeling brave, you can slice the cake into two layers and add more peanut butter and sliced or mushed bananas. Or simply go to the next step.
Frost the cake with low fat cottage cheese or cream cheese and decorate with dog biscuit treats. Stick in some halved Frankfurter hot dogs as ‘candles’. Store in refrigerator.

Yep
Milton's having two birthdays, 1st of June's his actual birthday and he's having another on 15th of March to celebrate the day I picked him up Well, he gets treated like royalty anyway, so why not?

Re: Shéara's birthday...
I won't give you the recipe for Loki's cake because although he loved it, there was far too much peanut butter
Anyway, for gifts...a big antler from antlerdogchews (they have massive ones), Boomer Ball, frisbee, tug-of-war toys, meaty bones ...I can't think of anything else but have a look at some online dog toy sites and see what you like.

Re: Shéara's birthday...
Shéara LOVES peanut butter...he's only just decided to get outta bed 'cos he heard me opening the jar!
Stagbar is a definite. He had a boomer ball but he just barked with frustration at it so Rumor ended up with it. Could do with a decent frisbee!?
Im looking for another harness/collar/lead set, the link on the colour coded ones are too thick to put his tags on and the harness loosens a little when walking so id like a more fitted comfortable one.
Oh and im investing in one of them kids shell shaped water/sand pits for the new house, im sure hes gonna love that
