Brilliant walk
I am so happy i thought i would share lol!!
Just taken my dog Hollie for her mid afternoon walk and walking in front of us was another staff as we got closer Hollie and the staff (Eddie) started sniffing each other Eddie did not bat an eyelid and carried on walking what i found truly amazing that my Hollie started to try and play with Eddie, something she has never done when approached another dog (mainly because their owners hurry past or yank their dogs away for fear of Hollie biting them), Anyway the lady and i got talking and she asked if we would like to go to her garden where they can play, i was a little wary but pleased,
She let Eddie off first then i let off Hollie and they hit it off running around playing jumping so nice, but i was a little concerned when they started snarling but still playing (apparently typical staff playing?).
We have now arranged for another play date as they got on so well.
I am truly so happy,
Now i have a worn out girlx

Re: Brilliant walk
Glad to hear she made a friend They do tend to play on the rough side and can be a little vocal. It can be scary at first until you are used to it and learn to tell what is normal. Here is a link on body language that should help

Frankie makes all sorts of noises when he plays too. It's great to hear she's got a friend

Re: Brilliant walk
Always great to have play mates, the more the merrier. Staffies can be very vocal when playing which is quite normal so dont be alarmed by this. If you do have any fears over body language the link below should help:

This was so nice to read, and can totally understand how happy you feel. A breakthrough is something to be celebrated.

Re: Brilliant walk
Thats great news
Nothing better than a play date when you can let them tear around. They can be very vocal, but you get used to it!
