Jess! First week analysis!
What can we say the first week with her has gone really well and she's settling in big time. She shows a lot of affection loves to curl up next to you on the sofa and likes a good cuddle but at times she's to eager and jumps right into you lol had a good few bruises and scratches (Gemma my partner is full of bruises) and will follow us around the house and no matter what we're doing she'll calmly just sit there next to you. During the night she stays in the kitchen apart from 10 minutes of wimpering on the first night she's been really good not a peep out of her and apart from 1 accident (toilet wise) there's been no problems at all.
Playing wise full of energy goes crazy at times darting everywhere lol getting good at fetching now and loves a good old game of tug o war!
I'd say the only thing which is a bit of a pain is she likes to leave a mess after destroying her toys lol and crumbs from her dog biscuits nothing 5 mins with the hoover sorts out everyday lol. Oh and has a habit of eating her poo at times but have found that being stood there ready with treats is sorting that out.
One last thing and this is what we find upsetting. We feel she's been really mistreated as she has quite a few scars on her body that look like she's been bitten, we feel she's been used to try to fight and not liked it so she's been kicked out also at times we've gone to stroke her she's coward as if she's felt she's gonna be hit then realised she isn't (would never in a million years) then been excited again luckily she seems to be getting out of this quickly. If this is the case it's really sad as she seems up to now that she is such a placid and loyal dog just can't believe if this is the case anyone could treat her in this way. Anyway she has a good new home now and is seems to be relashing her new lease of life.
All in all just know it's one of the best decisions we've ever made getting a staffy. Could not now think of a more loyal dog breed. All the bad press from the media is defo misleading in the right hands they are certainly the right dog for anyone.

Re: Jess! First week analysis!
She looks great and I'm really happy for you.
Jess reminds me of Emma. We think that maybe she was used as a bait dog, but really will never know.
Love, encouragement and more love. Second verse same as the first......
