Update on Ty/Jess
Ok so I concluded that Jessie really needs to be controlled by her humans and not me. I have enrolled her at the same school that Tyson has been going to and it is up to them to ensure she starts next week.
The family reported that they did go to the big dog park and Jess was great with all the bigger doggies. However she did get agro with anything that was snippy like JRT's etc. At which point they picked up on her body language very quickly and nipped it in the bud. Personally I think too much too soon and my son, in retrospect, now agrees with me.
It was Tyson's first agility class today. We had a walk this morning then took him to our usual training (he is in advanced off lead class). He did well but I made a huge mistake going into the agility straight after. The heat was unbearable and it was all a bit much. I quit the class early and we came home. I have a very exhausted boy here (not to mention I am flattened).
Next week we will do the agility in the morning and will return for the last training class in the afternoon after he is rested. I do have quite a bit of homework to do. Thanks to anniemother for all those tips on touch training as it seems to be used a lot in agility work. Seeing how it is used makes sense now. Tyson looks like he is going to love the agility and I think it will build my confidence aswell.

Really glad to hear that things are working out OK. I guess it just takes time and patience
