I've only got 1 on my shoulder and as the lad did it I nearly passed out 3 times What made it worse was a kid about 15 -16 came out just before I went in bright as a button after having this massive dragon on his arm (it gave me the courage to go through with it )

Its gorgeous, I had Ledgers portrait on my side done just over 2 weeks ago it was not as painful as my foot tat but 90minutes had me really quite dizzy but it was kept light so I can decide if I want more shading put in once it has fully healed.
Tbh the most torture has been trying not to scratch it when it itches like mad through the healing

Re: tattoo for my boy
E45 cream was really good to stop the itching I remember. Just very gently smear a little over and cover with cling film, that's what I did and didn't suffer any damage to the quality of the tattoo's.

Re: tattoo for my boy
it was £120
It looks bigger in the pic than it actually is and obviously a tad tender as taken by the artist as soon as it was done

Re: tattoo for my boy
i've had tattoo on the brain all week too. i have three designs, but keep going back to the most simple one of them, since the other two would need to take up my shoulder, and the more simple one could be on my forearm.
i'm really trying to decide still...
the big one
the medium
the small (most likely)

Yeah E45 is good. Although preparation H (pile cream) is advised. Wouldn't bother with the cling film as this may cause sweating and the scab will go mingin and soggy. Be careful not to knock the scab or itch/pick at it or it will end up patchy, and with it being solid black it will look naff.

Re: tattoo for my boy
I can't see the pic at work - will have to look when I get home lol stupid internet security.
I've always thought about having a tattoo done for the dog but then I'd feed bad about the rest of the animals. Not enough space left on my body for 26 other names lol
Already have 7 tattoos and the one on my back is covering most of it, well it will once it's finished.
I was told never to use E45 cream on tattoos, always tend to use "tattoo goo" which my tattooist gives me
