sodding road works

three nights in a row now ive had brrrrrrrr pause brrrrrr whole house vibrates as the sods resurface the main road, my god i need sleep and so do dogs as they are very intrested by the noise as well.... the road is closed from 8pm until 6am too which is a ball ache,,,,but that noise.... and the signs say 12 days.... im about to start lobing nasty things at them starting with dog poo and moving up to flamable substances ....

There is road works on the hill just before my house too. I got home after driving for probably 5 1/2 hours driving yesterday and was desperate to get home. They looked at me and waved "no", I rolled the window down and said "that's my house there" and they waved "no" again.

Then slightely more forcefully I said "Listen, that's my house and I need to get into it", a young lad said "Sorry I can't let you go in".

Then my bad temper kicked in and I said "Well I can tell you...that's where I'm going!". He gave me a real smug look so I really lost my temper then and drove over the top of all their stuff

I expect a nasty letter in the post now

PMSL just what i would do mate, cant stand jobsworths either. I have a very very long fuse unless you mess with either my dogs or my house and then its about this big ---->0<----

I'm ok unless I'm tired or if it's a fella trying to tell me what I can and can't do when they have no authority at all to do so.

There was extra "road closed" signs put up today, I drove straight on just as before today thinking "just more for me to knock down" >
