One thing i'v found with my lot is they need to go as soon as they wake up they won't wait around for you to have your breakfast i'm afraid so if you have a crate leave them in there in do your business then let her out when your ready to go for a walk immediatly.
Actually no i thought you meant she messed during the morning while you where making a brew or did she do it in the night.
Having alot of space to roam around gives them the excuse to go if you ask me, whens your last feed and drink for her? you could try taking it back about an hour before.

Does she sleep in a crate? If not maybe getting her one will help...

I would personally stop the water about an hour before her last walk. What kind of messing urinating or defecating?

Moo did this when we first got her, but it was diahrea, is Roo's, and does he know he has done wrong or carry on as usual when you discover it??

I changed Moo's food and eating times, so she is fed before walks. She has breakfast about 7am and lunch at about 3pm. May be worth a try.

Have you thought of crating or only allowing enough kitchen to sleep in not wander around? they tend to not like messing where they sleep, messing during the night is usually because they are not walk, which she is, late feeding and watering which she is not or too much space.

ROO is solid but very windy lol Smile yeah she knows she has done wrong as lays in her bed and shakes and lips her lips fast bless her i am begining to think it is too much space, i did wonder if she was protesting because she has been moved out of our room back into kitchen on a night because her snoring kept us awake lol and she does snore very loud lol

I think you may have just hit the nail on the head. They can protest, well I think anyway. As said earlier maybe a crate downstairs/limiting the amount of room he has, changing feeding times?

I would never feed before a walk. One word - BLOAT.

There you go! She's had her nose put out because she isn't sleeping in your room now! If that's the case, she'll settle down as soon as she's used to the new routine.

What do you feed her & when?

Sorry, it sounded like you were walking her directly after feeding! Blushing

Dempsey has a bone after his morning walk or when I come home from work (at about 1.30pm) and gets his meat meal at about 5.30pm after his late afternoon walk (about an hour after). Then he has a last minute walk at about 9.30pm just up to the little green at the top of my road so he can relieve himself.

Woody has been crated since i got him, you have to persevere with the crying - it soon stops(he may have been good but didnt cry after 2 nights)! however i decided as he hadnt messed at all in 12months that i could now leave him out of the crate and give him free rein over the dining room as he obviously could hold it for long periods of time - more fool me. for 2 weeks everytime i got up in the morning and in from work i was cleaning up wee and poo - woody is back crated and doesnt go until let out, as said above if they have the room to go and dont have to sleep in it they will take advantage of that!
