wild in the garden
We have a 12 month old staffie, we didn't have her from a puppy she was 7months old when we adopted her from a family member. She is friendly and energetic . Loves playing with us and our kidz, she loves meeting people, getting lots of love and attention but I wanted some advise, as this is our first dog, whether her behaviour is normal. She tends to get quiet sharp with her biting when being played with, although she's never actually bitten. And when she's in the garden she becomes over boitsrous (she acts like a nutcase) and bites/barks at your feet and jumps up to bite your at hands. Which is concerning because it comes very sharp and she sounds quite aggressive (for want of a better word ). Her bark is becoming alittle concerning too. Is this normal 'young dog behaviour' and how do we deal with it. Help because we love her!!

Re: wild in the garden
You have to be really firm with training especially as she older, teach er boundaries, if she gets over excited remove her from the situation, sounds harsh but pays off in the long run.
Maybe you could come and say hi

Hi there!
She sounds quite normal, but a bit hyper. What do you do when she jumps up at you or bites hands/feet?
What so you feed her on & how much exercise (and what sort) does she get?

It is normal behaviour that needs curbing, like janey said. You need to teach her what you will and won't accept.
This might help with the biting, I know it is for puppies but if she is still doing it then she can't have been taught. The yelping helped me a lot with Daisy and she was at least 1 when I got her

Good luck and just ask for help when you need it, always someone around here to assist!
